~ Extremely rare Eames "Art Deco" 7-ply veneered plywood Club chair ~ This vintage chair is truly 1 of a kind, having never seen a similiar one up for public nor private sale. Sure to make your collection stand out...a wonderfully crafted chair and amazingly comfortable Made entirely of interlocking pieces of what appears to be Birch and constructed of seven ply veneered plywood (just as the original Eames classic Lounge chairs were) this fantastic chair has no hardware as all components fit snugly together The wood is in excellent condition with no cracks or chunks missing, only very slight staining is a few spots but very displayable Not sure if the fabric chair pad is original as it does match and has slightly faded the color of the wooden chair seat as if the pad has been t 40+ years Acquired from a local estate sale w t were many mid-century, scandinavian influenced pieces of furniture this chair truly stood out but I cannot find a home for it in my house so my loss is your gain Measures 32" tall x 31" wide x 17" seat hight. Although I cannot find any distinct markings on the chair I guarantee that this is vintage and not new.
