ORIGINAL McKINLEY PIN COMMEMORATING HIS ASSASSINATION in 1901 SMALLER 7/8" CELLULOID JUGATE This auction is for an original celluloid pin-pack issued as a memorial to the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901. The original paper back label reads "Sommer Badge Mfg. Co., Newark, NJ." The pin measures 7/8 inches in diameter. Condition is as shown: This pin-back looks great. The included images are scans of both sides taken at 300% of their normal size providing enhanced detail. This pinback's original shape and construction are still intact and tight. T are no dents, marks, or dings other than some very light superficial wear. T is some yellowing to white areas. T is no rust or marks on the back and the pin's manufacturer label is fully intact, clean and printing clear. The pin itself is intact and clean of rust. This is really a nice piece and it's over a hundred years old. This pin will make a nice addition to any collection. No reserve!
