As time allows... I will be Selling the Remainder of My Pipe Collection, of which I had over 1,300 pipes. I am not a pipe smoker... I just enjoyed collecting them. All pipes are in the condition of which I purchased, meaning they should be sterilized and may or may not need cleaning or refurbishing before using. I will describe pipes to the best of my ability... however, all pipes and or items are sold " AS IS ". is a Rare, Vintage DUNHILL U.S. PATENT pipe with a Stunning ROOT Briar Grain Finish . This pipe has the Original... beautiful Brown Grained (brindle) colored (bowling ball type) bit with a Small Ivory Dot (not white) . Pipe Patent was applied for in "1931", was issued in "1932" and this pipes patent number... dates the pipe to be "1935" . Bowl is charred (should clean up nicely) . Outside top edge of bowl is a little rough and has two areas in the front that shows wear from tamping pipe. The two areas are dark... I do not know if they are dark from being scorched or if previous owner used a black stain to cover areas. The areas appear to be too shiney to be scortch marks... however, you must be the judge. The rest of pipe and shank are in very good + condition for age. I would love to see this pipe and its beauty... after having been restored by one who knows how to restore (vintage quality) pipes properly. I have added read more
