DESCRIPTION Up for bid we have RARE ASIAN STERLING SILVER ABACUS SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS. This pair of stamped Sterling 950 salt & pepper shakers have the Chinese or Japanese lettering alongside the silver abacus wheels which I believe would be the numbers. They both measure 3/4" X 1/2" X 2 1/4" and have a sliding loading door on the reverse side and the pepper shaker has three tiny holes on one side and the salt shaker has six smaller holes. This pair are rare, old, in wonderful condition and hardly used. The owner has agreed to start the bidding low with no reserve. We are also offering this week a Sterling silver tie clasp in the same matching silver abacus design as the salt & pepper shakers if you are interested.
