This is a wonderful old 12 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Crock stamped on the side Dec 1915. It has the the cobalt blue 12 and oval with Red Wing on the front along with the red wings. It stands 17 1/2"s tall and is 17"s across the top. NO CRACKS or hair lines and I could not find any chips. This is in what I would call in close to mint condition. One handle is damaged and the bail wire handle has been replaced. T are some gouges on the front off the side that have glaze over them so must have been done at time of firing. The top really makes it rare because it is out of round a little. I think it makes really rare and it displays nicely. I tried to take pictures of what you might think of imperfections. We package our crock standing up only and take great care packaging them. We have shipped many crocks in the past.
