.45 caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N 2416. Left side of frame marked U.S. with wood grips. Revolver was found near the railroad tracks in Bowie, Arizona still loaded. It was purchased in an Auction in the southwest. More than likely was issued to the 6th U.S. Cavalry. Revolver was made in 1874 and was part of early shipment to SA.Condition: Entire pistol is a relic. It still is loaded with six cartridges that would date about 1877 and are corroded in the chambers. A wonderful historic relic.
