The obverse features a beautiful scene of Nativity, with the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph adoring Jesus in relief, the Three Wise Men arriving, the Star and Angels playing music instruments on the top of the medal. The reverse features a starry night, a bird in relief and a small Christmas poem. The medal stands for Christmas of 1979.
