This auction is for a FULL COLOR high-quality modern reprint of the vintage WWII flight manual entitled "Pilot Training Manual for the P-51 Mustang". Buyer to pay actual shipping costs. In the US, they will go by Media Mail for maybe $3. For foreign, it will be roughly $13 for USPS International First Class or Priority Flat Rate Envelope. Please check the postage calculator to be sure. These are not your grandmother's scans. Every page has been hand-corrected to remove as many blemishes as possible. Color correction with a known color standard sheet was used to get the colors as close to the original as possible. Special care was taken with the half-tone images to make sure all the depth and range of the originals is preserved. Manuals are printed on 24 lb paper and comb-bound with clear plastic front cover and black plastic back sheet. Please "Pilot Training Manual for the P-51 Mustang", 28 November 1944, 126 pages. This manual is in full color and is in cartoon-style. This manual is for pilot training and goes over all the controls and instruments in great detail. There is quite a bit of advice on the flying of the plane. I wonder what it felt like to put one of these on WEP, the "Wartime Emergency Power" that was intended for only 5 minutes of use before it trashed the engine.
