REVELL Side Winder Offset 1/24th Scale Slot Car Chassis, Adjustable Drop Arm In Good running Condition. Lubricated, Axels adjusted, Axel bushings are tight, 540 original axels are like new,Tires treated with Tire softner, New Braids, Pickup wires are still soft. Chrome Revell Motor looks and sounds Excellent! Motor runs strong! Cool looking 5 spoke style front rims with Knock offs, Firestone front runner slicks and Silicone rear slicks. All the tires were still soft, plus I have treated them with softner. NO cracks in tires but 1 front has a small dent from sitting (see pic) and the rears have some small chunks on corners (see pic) which I think are from some good old slot ar crashes. Chassis has the adjustable Drop arm which is perfect with the fragile spring and plastic retainer still in place and perfect, Original body mounts that look like they have Never had screws through them! NO corosion, dents, or extra drilled holes, Aluminum is still bright and clean, looks like new. Driven gear looks good, but Motor gear is worn. They were slightly out of aline apparently. Cant realine now. They work fine and do not slip but I would change them if you want to race it hard. This is from my personal collection. I'm selling off my own personal collection of rare mint NIB unbuilt model car kits and a few Slot cars. YES these are really mine! I am the guy who bought and collected them 20 to 45 years ago! I have about 400 of them. Most of them are 1/25th or 1/24th scale. Production dates range from 1958 to about 1992 with the majority of them being manufactured in the 60's and 70's. There are a couple dated around year 2000. I have many Muscle cars, customs, specialty cars, show cars, TV and Movie vehicles, race cars, 3 in1 kits and, annuals. I have kits from AMT, Ertl, SMP, MPC, Revell, Johan, Monogram, and a few other smaller companies. All the kits are complete unless otherwise noted. Many are still shrink wrapped. Almost all have the parts still wrapped in the original plastic bags in the boxes. I had opened some of the boxes back then just to take a peak after buying them. Before selling them I will fully inspect each model and note everything I find or dont find. I'll put a few kits on each week. So keep me on your favorite sellers list . My wife and I took these kits out of our dry climate controlled storage facility over the Christamas holiday. They have been well taken care of and preserved over the years. I'm just opening one big box at a time and selling them as I unpack them.You'll probably note groups of certain types or vintages listed at the same times. Thats how I boxed them up years ago. I hate to see them go but life goes on and things change. I'm racing a 1-1 scale real deal 1965 AP 427 Corvette in the Vintage series and own a large automotive custom shop. That all keeps me real busy. All of these old model kits are just sitting. Hopefully they will go to a good home and make a lot of you really happy. They can be built up and many can be considered collector quality and left in the boxes. I was a builder years ago and just bought them like crazy intending on building them all. I built about 100 of them and then stopped building about 24 years ago. Those built modles I'm keeping! But all the other cool kits are getting sold. This is only a hobby for me and I only have time to list a few items each week. I am NOT a profesional buyer and reseller. So be patient with me please as I am taking my time to try and get this all correct and make people happy. Thats what these models are about, fun, happiness, and smiles!
