Rhodesia 1910 1/- SG152a Pos. 2 – Long Gash in Queen’s Ear LOT P681-17: 1/- SG152a Agate & Deep Turquoise-Green, Perforated 14 x 14, Long Gash 3, Position 2, Head Plate Flaw: “Long Gash in Queen’s Ear” , Mint, Lightly Hinged, Original Gum. A beautiful stamp with particularly pale heads. This stamp is surprisingly illusive. This particular stamp is also oddly perforated – being much wider than normal, and thinner vertically resulting in the perforations being well into the lower frame design - some light foxing. Provenance: Ex.
