Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, baluster-form jar with rounded foot, tall collar, and applied ribbed handles, decorated with a leafy garland extending from handle to handle on the front and back. 3 1/4" x 1 1/2" flake to underside. Additional chips to underside at edge.
