The pattern name is "Asiatic plants" made by William Ridgway and Co., Staffordshire. An unusual bicolor transferware black and red plate. Plate is marked on reverse with a black transfer giving the name "Asiatic plants" and an impressed Royal Arms mark with the initials W.R. and Co. for William Ridgway. Circa 1830 to 1854. Plate is in excellent condition.
