This rare Tak Fakuta Grizzly prototype fixed blade was made for Rigid Brand knives in the 70's. Rigid adopted the knife and produced their very limited production of the massive 14" re-curved bowie. This is a one of a kind knife and any Rigid collector should be proud to put this in their collection. Blade is 9" long and very heavy 1/4" surgical stainless steel. Blood groove lightens blade and adds a distinctive look. Blade has the bear paw stamp and the beautiful hardwood scales have the grizzly logo also. Nickle silver hilt with two red and one black fiber spacers. Blade is marked TAK Blades Grizzly on one side and Pat. 1350623, Surgical Steel, on the other. Knife comes with it's original, heavy duty, hand stitched, saddle leather sheath, which has the TAK BLADES logo embossed on the front. Knife has been stored out of the sheath, never used, sharpened, carried, and cleaned after handling. A perfect specimen from this fine U.S. Custom Knife Makers Guild member. Tak has been around for many years and was one of the first custom knife makers to work directly with Manufacturers in designing their knives. You must be 18 years old to purchase this knife.
