This small archive of1968 Robert F. Kennedy for President campaign materials were used by RobertKennedy’s California campaign headquarters in Los Angeles in late May and early June 1968 for the California Presidential Primary election that was won by RFK just before his assassination at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on June 5, 1968. The collection includes: Kennedy campaign Bumper Sticker 11-3/4" x 3-7/8"with stains and other minor damage and the ends are starting to peel away; Four page campaign brochure, 8 ½ x 11 that has been folded to fit into a legal size envelope for mailing showing Kennedy speaking from a podium on the front page and pictures of his family and work room on the back page; A mimeograph handbill announcing an opportunity to meet and hear Robert Kennedy on May 28 next to Canter’s Restaurant on Fairfax Blvd. in Los Angeles, 8 ½ x 11”; A two page campaign brochure 8 ½ x 11 that has been folded to fit into a legal size envelope for mailing showing a profile of Kennedy on one side and pictures of him campaigning on the other, with a reference to the June 4 th vote.
