T was only a couple thousand people present on the 12th.... We Traveled almost 275 miles one way to attend this event...We Brought back rolls released by the mint at this unique ceremony w the mint allowed us to obtain a small quantity of these freshly struck 1 st Day Of Issue ROLLS by the box full...ONLY a few of us thought about going to the Hodgenville KY Post office to purchase a lincoln stamp to put on each roll then had the USPS CANCEL each roll...very awesome...Makes these VERY RARE!!! VERY LIMITED SUPPLY … THESE ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT>> GET YOURS NOW! Up for sale is a 4-Roll set of the New Lincoln Penny released in Hodgenville, Kentucky on February 12, 2009 directly from the Mint. EVERY ROLL is Uncirculated and has one of the SOLD OUT Lincoln 200th Anniversary Stamps on it. Each stamp was placed on the roll and both w Stamped/Canceled. Only a small number of us went to the post office to get them postmarked with a Lincoln stamp on it. We Also Have the "P" Mint Black Commemorative Cancelled Rolls..WARNING THIS IS LAST SET!!!
