You are bidding on a Ronald & Nancy Regan Bron ze 3" Medal . Authorized by Public Law 106-251, this medal was struck in recognition of Ronald and Nancy Reagan for their service to the Nation. This medal is a bronze replica of the Congressional Gold Medal presented to Nancy Reagan at a ceremony at the United States Capitol building on May 16, 2002.The obverse of the medal features a portrait of the former President and Mrs. Reagan with the inscription “RONALD AND NANCY REAGAN” centered along the top of the medal and the inscription “BY ACT OF CONGRESS 2000” centered under the portrait. The reverse of the medal features the United States flag superimposed and a bald eagle flying in the foreground. The inscription “PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH” is centered under the stars of the flag and the inscription “DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP 1981-1989” is centered under the lower wing of the eagle.
