This old authentic very nice as found OBTCO shield is nickle over brass. There is no hallmark on the back side. I suspect it dates from the 1930/40s. The WWII returnees were issued photo ID cards and the badges were phased out in 1948. ..... Look at the pics .... b id on what you know and see.
