ROWE POTTERY WORKS Provincial Pattern Honey Pot INTRODUCING PROVINCIAL WARE NEW PATTERN FROM ROWE POTTERY Simple Elegance. Those two words accurately describe this line of pottery. The floral pattern winds its way through each piece, starting simple and flourishing into a more ornate design as the size of the piece increases. The ash-tone reflects your request for something beyond Rowes traditional look. This will be by far the most popular line made by Rowe Pottery Works in recent memory. Each piece of salt glazed stoneware is hand crafted and signed with both the potter's mark and the decorator's mark. They are decorated with the same cobalt materials used over a century ago. During the firing process, salt vapors react with the surface of the clay to form a durable, permanent glassy finish. Because these products are truly handmade, you will not find the consistency of machine made, production line products. The size and shape of each piece will vary slightly and the pattern will be influenced by the individual decorator who creates your piece. These are innt traits of salt glaze stoneware and contribute to making each piece of Rowe Pottery a unique signature of all involved and an heirloom to be treasured for generations to come. Rowe brought back an old favorite for this collection. The Honey Pot comes with its own dipper. read more
