William Grant Liquor Container with original Scotch Whiskey Limited Edition of 5000 1988 7" High This character jug has been filled with a rare blend of malt and grain whiskey that has been aged in oak casks for 25 years. This jug was specially commissioned in 1988 to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Glenfiddich Distillery. This jug was designed and hand-modelled by J.G. Tongue after an original portrait. The portrait is pictured on the front of the presentation box. Grant's Blended Scotch Whisky, 750 ml, ALC 43% VOL. This jug also has a small cork and spout that would be placed in the opening to aide in pouring. Issued in 1988 in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces to celebrate the centenary of Glenfiddich Distillery. This jug is untapped and contains the then 25 year old Grants Scotch Whiskey - now 48 year old whisky. Also comes in the original red velvet presentation box. Condition is superb. I also have an unopened jug with the FOUR OAK CASKS handle. Limited Edition of 2,500. If you are interested please contact me and I will place it up for auction.
