Royal Worcester equestrian sculpture by the multi-talented Doris Lindner in 1972. Exceptional detail and wonderful use of glazes shows her mastery of the art. Mint condition. Will be professionally packed by taping the figure to a heavy piece of cardboard which fits securely inside second box. Popcorn will be used under the cardboad to reduce chances of shock. The cardboard will be tapped to the sides of the box and then filled with popcorn. DO NOT try to remove the sculpture from the inner box before cutting the sides of the box and letting the popcorn fall away, or lightly blow to remove lodged pieces. Then the sculpture can be gently to untaped from the cardboard and placed in prized possession of place.I have collected and sold hundreds of these fragile sculptures with very little breakage as long as instructions are followed. I have no control over postal handling but have found most breakage by buyers trying to remove sculpture by putting hand in popcorn and trying to pull out sculpture. This almost always causes breakage as item is TAPED to inside of box. This reduces the chances of the sculpture moving around in box and hitting sides of box. This will cause higher shipping costs as larger outer box will be used and also filled with popcorn or bubble wrap.
