This is what can only be a Royal Worcester Candle Snuffer. It looks to be an early version and is almost certainly one of the first Victorian issue. Unfortunately there is only the smallest indication of any factory mark inside and this may be the top of the Worcester crown but it is very unclear, being little more than a smudge. The top part of the night cap is chipped.Approx 3 inches or 7.5 cms in height but this excludes the missing top part. Hand painted and of the usual Worcester creamy white porcelain. Slight wear to the gilding around the handle.
