The caption reads, "A CORNER IN THE BUISNESS (sic) DISTRICT. GUAYMAS MEXICO STROTHMAN PHOTO"A date at the top of the photo postcard reads "1913."Strothman took many photos having to do with US naval operations during the Mexican Revolution. The stamp box dates the postcard to 1904-1918.PROVENANCE: This RPPC on offer is part of a collection of mostly navy-related photo postcards that I discovered in a south Texas antique shop. Most of the postcards in the bunch relate in some way to naval operations in waters off of Mexico and Central America, mostly revolving around the Mexican Revolution and/or Banana wars, and of the time frame 1913-1916. A few are later or of other areas (ex. California, Bremerton Naval Shipyard, etc). I do not know the original owner, I only know that the entire batch was part of an estate sale.Condition: Some general dirt and wear. Vintage condition. As shown.
