RUSSIAN/CAUCASIAN SILVER COSSACK SWORD WITH SWORD KNOT - 29 inch blade with 35 1/2 inch overall length. This South Russian/Caucasian Georgian Silver Cossack sword/saber/Shashka/Shamshir has Silver-plated handle with genuine Ruby eyes in the Eagle head. The scabbard is covered with quality black leather with silver fittings decoration with nice tracery engravings and quality Niello work. The blade is harden steel and is very sharp. This sword was not used for action but for show when appearing in public during the mid 1900's. But the fact that the blade is very sharp, I believe it could do some damage. The sword is very tight and is in excellent condition. Shipping and handling charges including insurance, within the United States will be at flat rate of $20.
