A genuine large very rare 1980's Russian mens military wristwatch made by the Vostok (Boctok) watch factory. Vostok means East in Russian. It has a revolving bezel and a screw-down crown. The watch is in very good condition (please see photos for visual condition). It is a mechanical wind-up watch, is working very well and keeps very good time. On the face below the raised silver star is the word 'Komandirskie' commander written in Russian. Below the 6 mark in tiny letters is 'ZAKAZ MO CCCP' in english this means 'By Order Of The Ministry Of Defense Of The Soviet Union' . Only Vostok watches with 'CCCP' at the bottom of the dial are real Soviet era watches!!! Size: diameter 4.3cm inc crown. The case is silver in colour and made of metal. The watch comes with a steel strap, this can be easily removed if you prefer leather. Unlike so many of the Russian watches on ebay this watch was made when Russia was the Soviet Union not a modern copy. Please look at the other watches I have for sale, Raketa, Poljot Sturmanskie, Slava and Vostok. If the winning bidder is from the UK and the watch is more than £50 please choose the £7.25 postage option if you would like your watch insured. Overseas buyers are automatically insured.
