Being offered is a very rare piece of early Soviet history. This visor is early-made and high quality visor issued to a Senior Commander and/or Commissar. The wool is heavy and the sweatband is leather. The inside of the hat is stamped in Russian, but it is difficult to read. The early model 1922 cap badge is original to the hat and a nice example. This item is in great condition considering its age and rarity. Consequently, it would be a wonderful addition to any military collection. Please feel free to ask any and all questions.
