You are bidding on very rare set of Russian WWII and cold war military awards to the single person in the rank of Major. What makes this group especially rare that it includes three orders of the Red Star to the same recipient. This is truly rare occurence. Group features three orders and four medals with five award documents. Group includes: Type 6, Variation 1.2 , order of the Red Star. Serial #529526. Awarded on April 30th 1943. Type 6, Variation 11.3, order of the Red Star. Serial #3388805. Awarded on December 28th 1954 (possibly for service in Korean war). Type 6, Variation 11.3, order of the Red Star. Serial #3406406. Awarded on March 6th 1956. Medal for 20 years of Irreproachable service in the Armed Forces of USSR. Awarded January 17th 1962. 30 years of the Soviet Army and navy jubilee medal. Awarded February 1949. 40 years of the Armed Forces of the USSR jubilee medal. Awarded July 1958. 50 years of the Armed Forces of the USSR jubilee medal. Awarded February 1968. Award book for all three orders listed above. Four award books for all three medals listed above. Awards and document appears to be original. They are in very good to excellent condition.
