Handmade Bronze Bronzite Latin American Rosary w/Chiastolite "Cross Stone" by Prairiewood Creations "Faith of the Ancients" This stunning LARGE solid bronze crucifix is 3 1/2 inches long. It was hand cast from a handmade Latin American pectoral crucifix dating from the early 19th century and is absolutely exquisite in its simplicity. A wonderful example of Latin American religious art. The solid bronze center is a Large Sacred Heart with Crown of Thorns. It is hand cast from a Latin American Milagro (Miracle). It has a very rustic, primitive look to it. The Paters are from an unusual stone called Chiastolite or "Cross Stone". Known for its naturally occuring cross pattern within the stone. Chiastolite has been used throughout history as a sign of devotion. These measure approx. 13mm and are coin shaped. The Ave's are 8mm round bronzite stone. A deep, rich brown with shimmering golden swirls throughout. Spacers are 4mm bronze Czech glass nestled between Japanese seed beads. This gorgeous, rustic, one of a kind rosary measures 26 1/2 inches long.
