You are bidding on a new HO scale laser kit from Banta Modelworks. Banta Modelworks manufactures quality craftsman kits using a variety of materials such as laser cut basswood, styrene detail parts and Hydrocal plaster castings for masonry buildings. A precision laser cut kit of the water tank at Baker on the Boreas Pass Line. The tank was originally located at the west end of Alpine Tunnel and when operations through the tunnel ceased, the tank was moved to the Boreas Pass line. The kit includes templates for building the support structure and for building the spout mechanism. The kit tank consists of a one piece wood wrapper and center core, white metal hardware from Banta's own patterns, peel and stick tank bands, strip wood for the supports, and laser cut frost box and "X" bracing. True to prototype, it even has the notches in the cross beams for the tank timbers and legs. Easy assembly makes this a super kit and a great addition to your railroad!
