This auction is for a Series of 1929 Five Dollars National Currency banknote from The Mellon National Bank of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This item is circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, dark and dirty areas, perhaps grease and/or rust stains, areas of discoloration); edge and corner wear (areas of very heavy edge and corner wear exist (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough/split in many areas); edges oddly cut and perhaps trimmed; edge indents/nicks/tears (multiple small tears exist); surface wear (areas of paper thinning and fraying exist); no holes/inner tears that I could see (if they exist they are small).
