This is a wonderful vintage completed cross stitch sampler, showing letters, numbers, crowns, animals, flowers, fruit and a church. It was made by a Dut ch lady and is dated 1993. It is stitched with cotton thread on cotton fabric. I count 15 crosses per inch or 6 crosses per cm. Th e stitched area measures approximately 19 1/4 x 12 1/4 inches or 49 x 31 cm. The sampler has one light spot on it, near the letter 'U' of the red alphabet. The previous owner took this sampler from its frame, but it can easily be framed again. At the back, outside the stiched area, the fabric is a bit sticky. This is a wonderful Dutch reproduction sampler and bids start at $0.99 only with no reserve!
