My mother is relocating and downsizing and I am helping her to sell some of the valuables that she and my father kept durign the 50 years they were happily married. This is a superb, very large, round hand-blown glass bowl. It shows the distinguishing uneven finish ofhand-blown glass. It is heavy and in excellent vintage used condition; on the bottom, it has some light superficial scratches, so slight they do not show on pictures. No chips or cracks. Perfect vintage condition. I wish pictures could show how beautiful it looks on a large table. Has no marks or signatures or etching. Hand-blown glass is manufactured one by one, using heated glass and centrifugal force. This piece weighs more than 5 lbs. It is magnificent as a centerpiece. Round 19” diameter. Excellent for large family reunions as a food serving platter or as a centerpiece display.
