For your consideration is an outstanding, Barbini-like, MURANO ART GLASS ashtray/bowl. It is a soft greenish-yellow color with white casing. There is a dusting of gold whipped flakes throughout the greenish portion. It has 3 folds. The ashtray is from the 1950-60's era. It no longer has its MADE IN MURANO ITALY tag.. This thick, heavy bowl measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter. It stands 2 1/4 inches high. It is in nice condition with no cracks or chips. There are some minor scratches on the base which is conducive to its age. This could be used for cigarettes, a nut/candy bowl or just have it sit alone as an object d' arte.
