BRASS SAMOVAR Includes: Samovar Urn, Teapot (with lid), Tray , Cup We do not know the age of this Brass Samovar Set but the estate indicated that it was purchased by a family while stationed in the Middle East. The family brought it to the USA. A number of the sets were made in Persia/Iran. Borujerd is the main center of production of these chai/tea sets in that part of the world. This set is ornate and makes a beautiful presentation. Measurements: Samovar 8 7/8" tall: from handle-to-handle 6" and the spigot is 2.5" Teapot 4 1/8" x 3" Cup 3 3/8" diameter x 1.5" high Tray 7 5/8" x 4 5/8" smallest end 3.75" Wood is used for the inserts in the handles and in the "pulls" on the lid that covers the fuel chamber. As previously stated, the set has an ornate design on the samovar, teapot and tray. It is in excellent condition...if used..very few times..just doesn't show the signs of use. Please see pictures.
