This is an equisite relief of the San Damiano cruciform inspired by St. Francis of Assisi. This unique design captures the San Damiano cross in a three dimensional form. Being a relief, the detail is much more visible in the scenes that are formed around the corpi (Jesus). The whole cross has a gold leaf filigree that borders the outside frame. T is also an inner gold leaf filigree border that surrounds the depictions and corpi. The halo has a beautiful gold glow that sets the tone for the detail of the corpus. You will not see a more unique version of the traditional San Damiano cross. A wonderful addition to any home, office, church, rectory, or convent.
