This is a rather unusual little vase. It evidently was a souvenir of the Santa Fe Hospital in the Boyle Area of San Francisco, California. The hospital was built in 1904 as a railroad hospital and featured all sorts of innovative ideas. The name of the hospital was changed in 1937. The hospital finally closed in 1991. Since that time, it has been used for TV, movies, etc. It has also had rumors of ghosts rather continuously since closing. The vase is 3 3/4" tall and has 2 handles. There is gold trim on the handles. The vase was Made in Germany. The vase has wear and a scratch on the picture (see picture 2); otherwise, the vase is in good condition for being at least 74 years old.
