Scale .60 Size YAK-18P,PM Plans, Templates and Instructions You are bidding on a new set of plans for Scale .60 Size YAK-18P,PM. It is conventional construction built from balsa, plywood and spruce. It is designed with fixed gear, but I'm certain retracts could be added. It is a great design and is a great flying and aerobatic plane. It includes the Plans and templates/ patterns showing the parts needed for this beauty. Building instructions are also included. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. These plans are in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment. Plans are shipped rolled in a mailing tube. With an all-metal structure and mixed fabric/metal covering, the aircraft went into production in 1947, with a comparatively small engine. Built in large numbers as a "tail dragger," the plane was redesigned as the Yak-18U in 1955, with increased wing dihedral, longer fuselage and partially-retractable tricycle landing gear, for use as a jet pilot primary trainer.
