Smith Brothers Machine Company - From the worn grey shingle roof to the Hamm River custom painted resin cast details and faded weather streaked board exterior, it's hard to believe this model came from a redesigned plastic kit. Scratch bashed built from a completely reworked O scale plastic kit on a Mount Albert Scale Lumber base (the same fine scale wood included in those expensive craftsman kits). Zoom in on the grey shingle roof and check out the most realistic random rustic hand weathered shake shingle roof system we have ever seen. There's 3 beautiful shake shingle roof exposures with individually applied random overlapping angled roof peak shingles just like a real shingle roof, a rusty crusty tall smoke stack, Tichy O scale windows & doors, dusty weather streaked window glass and accurately scaled Hamm River Model Products resin cast wood crates and barrels . Windows have dusty clear plastic fitted flush (no muttons hovering). The building is mounted on a 1/4" MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) base so you could easily drill a hole through the base to add interior lighting if desired (lighting NOT included). The footprint is 9 inches wide by 7 3/8 inches deep by 7 inches tall to the top of the roof peak (not including smokestack).
