Up for bid is a Scratch Built Dan's Truckstop and Cafe from the Gray Brothers. This is an unused item. I have decided not to pursue this particular direction on my layout and am reducing some of my inventory. Original description: “This original Z scale truckstop diorama is scratch built from weatheredbasswood. The diorama measures 3 1/2" by 2 3/8" by 2 1/8" highto the top of the smokestack. This is a diorama from the 40's & 50's of the old false front architecture from the steam era that we like. Details include: 1. handcut doors and windows with glass 2. aged wood slat roof with stovepipe and smokestack 3. signs on all sides 4. two handpainted metal gas pumps with a bucket on the island 5. handpainted oil barrel on the side & four trashcans and a bucket surround the building 6. there are three vehicles which are included but separate - put them where you want them 7. first a metal flat bed truck with a handmade wooden bed, and a load of crates, barrels, boxes & a a ladder 8. second is a rusty old red styrene van and a beat up old white sedan 9. the truckdrive, a handpainted Z figure, is standing just outside the cafe door .” Terms: Payment is expected within 7 days after the auction ends.
