This Helmet or Cap Badge appears to be nickle plated on metal. The plating is perfect, and the base metal cannot, therefore, be discerned. It is 7cms in height, and 5.5cms wide. The central piece, which features the Scarborough Coat of Arms, is attached seperately by two bent lugs. The back has two brass lugs to facilitate mounting on the Helmet/Cap. The badge is in good condition, with no obvious scratches or wear, and would grace a serious collection of similar items. Please contact me for any further information, or a photograqph of the back.
