Highly desirable original pennant as issued for the 1956 NFL Championship game played at Yankee Stadium between the New York Giants and Chicago Bears. Football graphics related to each team depicted at the left end with titling in white lettering across the front. Scattered light general wear evident with some cracking to the yellow border strip at left end. Retains its original tassels. Very fine piece as offered at the game in which the Giants destroyed the Bears by a final score of 47-7 behind HOFers Frank Gifford and Sam Huff along with coordinators Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi.
