THIS IS A SCARCE EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS OPEN SALT CELLAR. THIS IS THE "DIAMOND POINT DISCS PATTERN" BY HIGBEE GLASS CIRCA 1900. THIS PIECE IS MARKED WITH THE BEE. THIS ROUND SALT HAS A SCALLOPED RIM AND STANDS ON THREE LEGS. IT HAS SIX DIAMOND POINT DISCS AROUND THE SIDES AND A FLOWER FORM DECORATED BOTTOM. THIS SCARCE COLLECTABLE SALT IS 1 1/8" TALL AND IS 1 3/4" IN DIAMETER. CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. FEATURED IN HEACOCKS 5000 OPEN SALTS ON PAGE 148 ITEM 2930.
