Scarce Onoto Magna 873 98 PEN: Excellent and hard to find Restored Onoto Magna.BODY: No cracks, no chips, no major scratches, engraved names or removed names on pen. Complete Deep 'Onoto-Magna, DeLaRue & Co Ltd London' Imprint. Nice barrel and cap chasing. Good barrel threads that securely grip the cap without slipping.FILLER: Complete moveable piston filler, properly restored and functional.NIB: Original Gold DeLaRue Onoto 14ct London 7 Flex Nib with good iridium remaining.CAP: No cracks, dents, dings or significant scratches. Good cap threads that screw on properly and tightly. Tripple bands with wider central band and no brassing. Minimal brassing on edges of the clip. OVERALL: The pen shows well, fills properly and the nib glides smoothly across the page. Excellent example of a scarce pen that functions properly and is a pleasure to use.
