Here is a neat small tintype photograph of Confederate General Robert E Lee.Younger image of Lee, probably in his forties, maybe during the Mexican American War Period.You can see a similar image in Wikipedia.Please note that tintypes were not until the late 1850's, so I do not know if this image was taken from an ambrotype at an earlier time, this is not reproduction,the tintype is period Civil War. Photographer is unknownI would guess this to be around the 1860'sImages is in fair condition, see noted conditions above.Approx dimensions of item is 1 3/8 by 1 5/8.I DO NOT DUE BUY IT NOW, THANKS! $2.25 packaged and shipped anywhere in the U.S with USPS mail.
