Welcome to the World of Mammoth Scrimshaw ! All of our scrimshaw and carvings are done on 10,000 year old mammoth tusk ivory (unless otherwise noted) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity . All of our ivory is the finest available and comes from the permafrost in Siberia. The artist is second generation New England Scrimshander Bob Greenlaw. Mr. Greenlaw grew up in the seaside town of Riverside, Rhode Island and his lovely works have been sold throughout the world. These precious artworks are truely an investment and are sure to increase in value as the supply of available mammoth ivory dwindles. This beautiful carving of an eagle is made from elk antler and the end is made from mammoth ivory. It can be used for a knife, cane or walking stick handle!!!!!! It measures 4 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide.
