The Searchers – Sugar and Spice, 1963 7” maroon label Pye 7N 15566. This is a decent example of Sugar and Spice / Saints and Searchers by The Searchers. It was released on the Pye label in 1963 – 7N 1556 – and is in around VG condition. (Visually it looks about G but it plays really well). This is one of the earlier examples, issued on the old style dark maroon labels. Most examples turn up with the later pink labels. There are some names written faintly on the label. The record will be supplied in an original Pye company cover. It is impossible to be an expert in all realms of collecting, and I am honestly representing this item to the best of my knowledge and ability. If the item has a fault then I have mentioned it. I ask that you read the description and examine the photos carefully. I also encourage you to ask any questions you may have during the auction to help clarify identification or condition, as I may inadvertently omit information that you as a collector feel is important. I have described the condition of the item in my text but where applicable I have also ticked the 'used' box as even where an item is 'perfect', it is very old and logic says it must have been handled and probably used at some time over the decades!
