This item came from an estate of a elderly architect and is for a second edition 1968 ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL MANUAL - AIA FILE NO. 12-L by SMACNA [ Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, Inc. ] This manual was prepared to provide architects with reliable references for proper design and installation of architectural sheet metal.The detail drawings and text material reflect the experience and knowledge of nationally respected sheet metal contractors of the time. The many plates have been selected from hundreds of drawings, charts, and tables submitted to the commitee. Several methods of design and installation have been shown on many items in the manual to give the architect a choice and to reflect area practices and varying climatic conditions throughout the country. I took pictures of the three pages of the table of contents. 282 pages in all. This is an invaluable tool for any architect or designer using any type of sheet metal. Spiral bound book is in very good condition with no previous owners writing inside that I could find. Weight is 2lb.5.3oz.
