This is a section of airframe from spitfire.This is a section of airframe which still has the remains of green paint on it and has part number 298555A that is the bit i can read the section is 11 inchs long and has a metal pin in one end which again has paint on the part has been cleaned but would clean up more with some effort and is a nice piece of battle of Britain history the part comes complete with lamernated sheet with the crash details on it the is perfect for display or any collection.The part came from RAF spitfire work number P9364 which was shot down and crashed at Hollingbourne in Kent during the Battle of Britain 1940.
