Description So you got yourself a Segway and you want to be able to take it with you in your car, van, suv or truck. While the Segway PT is not real heavy it is sure awkward to pick up. T are many ways to load and Segway and after over 4 years of selling them we have worked with a leading ramp company to bring you a very effective and economical solution. The SegVator lift is completely effortless for the user and works with a trailer hitch mount on the outside of your vehicle. The SegHauler from Segway also works with your trailer hitch mount. And we of course carry Segways ramp set as well. When it comes to ramps, most we found on the market w either basically home made and not real reliable or just too darn expensive. These loading ramps for auction are professionally built, durable, designed for safety and yet only weigh approximately 16 pounds each. These ramps telescope and range from 48 inches to about 7'6". Very adjustable to meet most any need. They are 7 & Â�1⁄2 inches wide to accommodate any model Segway including the XT and X2. With a lip on the side of almost 2 inches you will be able to load your Segway safely. Since these ramps are light and only approximately 48inches long when collapsed for storage and will fit easily in most vehicles. This longer size is needed for very tall pickup trucks and some taller SUV's. They are the best size if you think the 48 inch ramp we sell is not long enought. They are heavier then the 48 inch non telescoping though. More then strong enough to load and i or x model Segway! They include grip tape so whether you are pushing your Segway up the ramp or letting the Segway power itself up you should not experience slippage. You can turn your Segway off and simply push them up the ramps. On Generation I Segways you can use the power assist mode to power your Segway up the ramps. In enclosed vehicles simply turn the Segway off before it completely enters the vehicle and let it roll in. On Generation II Segways you can let the unit power itself up the ramps in Balance Mode and again in enclosed vehicles simply turn the Segway off before it completely enters the vehicle and let it roll in. To take the Segway out simply use the opposite method of your choice. The first picture is of the long ramp in this auction fully extended. The first picture is a customer loading his x2 in a taller SUV with power off by just pushing the x2 by himself. This product is not produced by Segway Inc. and has not been inspected by Segway Inc.
