Vintage Selmer 24B K-mod trumpet in lacquerThis is a great vintage Selmer 24B. Has a huge rich sound and an easy blow. Lacquer is mostly intact, but there is a little acid bleed on the bell rim (see pic). I can't tell if it is the original lacquer, but if it isn't, it looks like it! Engraving is beautiful as well. Probably from late 1968 or early 1969. The K-Mod means it accepts normal trumpet mouthpieces (both regular and short shank).Mechanically the horn is in very good shape. Good compression and pop to the slides and valves. Slides and valves are very clean. JLandress Brass just did a chemical clean and put in new springs, corks, etc; it also got a precision valve alignment. The trigger is currently unattached, but I will include it separately in the box (along with original valve springs).I'm only selling because I need to "thin the herd". No case or mouthpiece
