Up for eBay auction is this Series of 1914 Federal Reserve Note. It is the $5 large size (7 1/2 inches by 3 1/8 inches) U.S. paper currency. This note is signed by Frank White, Treasurer of the United States, and A.W.Mellon, Secretary of the Treasury. It was authorized by the Federal Reserve Act of Dec. 23, 1913. This note looks great - it has some light creases but no tears. There is a stain at the lower right corner where someone used tape on it and the tape left a residue. If this almost 100 year old U.S.paper money will be a good addition to your collection, now is the time to bid!
